Carol + Marv | Little Chapel of the West | Las Vegas

Hello Kim + Adam Photo Fans!

Yes we know it has been a awhile since we have posted. Adam and I have taken a break from our photography for the year. After Adam needing  surgery  last fall and a change in medical careers, it was time to slow down a bit with our creative side and focus on our family. We hope to offer our photography again in the future once things settle down into a normal work schedule. We are brainstorming new products and services to offer, so please stay tuned. Photography has always enabled us to use our creative emotions and offer a care free experience to our clients! Thanks  for all your support the last 6 years.

With that being said, we were happy to join my best buddy Carol and her husband in Vegas to shoot a few family pics a month ago. They already had a designated photographer at the chapel, but we were happy to add in a few family shots. Around 15 of us traveled to Vegas to join in the occasion, and what fun. We also traveled to the grand canyon which was a site itself! It was truly a wonderful experience to share this with one of my best friends. Congrats Carol and Marv!

Nicole + David | Birmingham Wedding Photographers

Hello!! Adam and I were honored to capture the wedding of Nicole and David at Canterbury United Methodist Church in Birmingham followed by reception at the Hilton Hotel. The church grounds were perfect to capture some nice detail photos as well as set up their first glance. Nicole looked beautiful as she met David in the Courtyard. Following a few formal poses , we finished up photos in the sanctuary which served as a beautiful backdrop with massive stain glass windows.

One of the most memorable moments was seeing a little fella pull the wagon down the aisle with his younger brother. He was so proud to be a part of that special moment.

After their sweet ceremony, they rode in style via Legacy Limos to the reception where the party continued. Guests enjoyed a nice photo booth for posting fun photos on instagram! After the traditional cake cutting and toasts, guests danced and partied the night away with a great wedding band! Oh what a night! Congrats and best wishes!

Rachel + Travis | Kellyton Wedding Photographers

Most couples meet through friends, at college or even through the ever so popular online dating, but meeting on an airplane is the most unique story to date for our couples. It’s true, Rachel and Travis met on an airplane flight. Who knew that particular instance would be the start of their “together forever”. Adam and I had the great pleasure of capturing their wedding back on Memorial weekend at the great Five Star Plantation, a hunting preserve since 1919. This place was the perfect backdrop for their wedding adventure, from the exquisite hunting lodge to the great outdoors.

These two opted for a traditional glance as Rachel was escorted down the isle. Rachel , of course looked radiant in her custom made gown. Travis’s tears proved all the wait to be worthwhile. After their sweet ceremony in front of the main lodge, we utilized several different areas of the property and traveled to the lake to finish up some nice photos. Adam and I finished up with some creative light painting sparkler photos to finalize the night. Thank you for allowing us to capture some great photos!

Crystal + Chad | Jacksonville Wedding Photographers

Hello!! Adam and I had the pleasure of photographing Crystal and Chad’s wedding back in May at the Jacksonville State University Alumni House.
What a cute place full of Southern Charm. Crystal’s love for literature brought together book inspired decor throughout the wedding, even down to her sweet little necklace- a bookcase with mini books. The rainbow archway of books made the perfect entrance for their wedding along with hand made paper bouquets made from what else- pages of literature! One of the most creative themed weddings we have encountered this season!

So what better way to finalize this post, but throw in a piece of literature, oh and pictures of course! Congrats Crystal and Chad.

From “The Irrational Season” by Madeleine L’Engle

But ultimately there comes a moment when a decision must be made. Ultimately two people who love each other must ask themselves how much they hope for as their love grows and deepens, and how much risk they are willing to take…It is indeed a fearful gamble…Because it is the nature of love to create, a marriage itself is something which has to be created, so that, together we become a new creature.

When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

Best Wishes!

Hayley & Emil | Anniston Wedding Photographers

Hello! While wedding season is in full swing, we had the pleasure of reminiscing into the past and visiting a venue where it all began for us- The Buckner Center. The Buckner Center was one of our very first weddings years ago which definitely brought back some memories. Now under new ownership and a updated palate for brides to envision their dream wedding, the Buckner Center is taking reservations. Ladies, this place is small enough for a nice intimate wedding or large enough for a grand wedding go all out party! Top Notch Events added some special decor and a  VIP seating area that was simply magnificent!

Hayley and Emil- the best words to describe these two is fun spirited! They go hand in hand like two peas in a pod and are so uplifting towards everyone! Emil is originally from Norway and they met when they both failed a college math class! Sounds like the perfect mathematical equation to us though : Hayley + Emil = Forever. Hayley look lovely in her beautiful dress and Emil’s exact words” Isn’t she hot!?” at their first glance definitely made her smile! We proceeded to have a fun bride/groom session which included lots of great ideas of photo styles from Hayley herself, including superheros.

After their sweet wedding, the reception continued in the ballroom, where Emil and Hayley entertained guests with a wonderful video as a “Thank You” token.  One of the best thankful expressions that we have seen to date! The sparkler exit was the ending highlight to this perfect wedding story!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with you both! Enjoy reliving your wedding day through the eyes of our camera lenses.

gratulasjoner til denne søte par ( congrats to this sweet couple)
